Monitor: The Story Behind Bang Bang EG's First Character

Every collectible brand has a character that comes to define it in the eyes of its earliest collectors. For Bang Bang EG, that character is Monitor.

Monitor is a bull, but not in the way you might expect. Instead of raw, untamed strength, he's depicted in a sharply tailored suit, finished with brass detailing that catches the light differently on every piece. The contrast is the point: a powerful, imposing form carried with composure and control rather than aggression.

Why a bull in a suit?

The bull has always been a symbol of strength across cultures and design traditions. Putting that strength into a suit shifts the meaning: Monitor isn't about force for its own sake. He's about presence — the kind of quiet, steady confidence that doesn't need to raise its voice to be felt in a room.

That's also why Monitor became the first character to anchor the Bang Bang EG lineup. Before Lumi, Humpo, or Nina had a story of their own, Monitor set the tone for what a Bang Bang EG character should feel like: deliberate, composed, and detailed enough to reward a closer look.

From sketch to sculpture

Like every Bang Bang EG figure, Monitor exists first as a sculpture before he becomes a collectible. He's hand-cast in polyester resin reinforced with fiberglass, and every brass detail on the suit is finished by hand — which is part of why no two Monitor pieces are ever perfectly identical.

Monitor is officially registered with the Egyptian Intellectual Property Authority, protecting the character as an original design. He currently comes in the Deep Noir colorway, available in 30cm and 40cm sizes, each individually numbered and certified.
