INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & LEGAL PROTECTION

All artistic works, characters, sculptures, 
and designs associated with BANG BANG EG — 
including but not limited to the characters 
Monitor, Lumi, Humpo, and Nina — are 
officially registered with the Egyptian 
Intellectual Property Authority (EIPA) 
under the name of their sole creator and 
legal owner: Mohamed Saad Eid Saad Hanour.

All rights of ownership, use, reproduction, 
modification, publication, distribution, 
and commercial exploitation — in any form, 
by any means, on any platform — are 
exclusively and irrevocably reserved for 
Mohamed Saad Eid Saad Hanour.

AUTHORIZATION REQUIREMENT

No individual, entity, brand, company, 
or platform may use, reproduce, publish, 
distribute, modify, or commercially exploit 
any character, image, design, sculpture, 
or artwork associated with BANG BANG EG 
without prior written authorization in the 
form of one of the following:

— A signed written contract
— An official signed licensing agreement
— A formal written permit issued directly 
   by Mohamed Saad Eid Saad Hanour

Verbal agreements, implied permissions, 
or prior interactions do not constitute 
valid authorization under any circumstances.

FINANCIAL PENALTIES FOR INFRINGEMENT

In the event of any unauthorized use — 
whether commercial or non-commercial, 
whether one piece or multiple pieces — 
the rights holder reserves the full right 
to claim financial compensation calculated 
as follows:

The infringer shall be liable to pay 
compensation equivalent to the full retail 
price of one hundred (100) units of the 
original infringed artwork — regardless of 
the actual number of pieces used, sold, 
copied, or distributed.

For example: if the original retail price 
of a piece is 50,000 Egyptian Pounds, 
the minimum compensation claim shall be 
5,000,000 Egyptian Pounds — even if only 
a single piece was used or sold — as 
compensation for material and moral damages 
caused to the rights holder.

APPLICABLE LAW & CRIMINAL PENALTIES

These rights are protected and enforced 
under the following Egyptian laws:

Egyptian Intellectual Property Law 
No. 82 of 2002, specifically:

Article 181:
Imprisonment for a period of no less than 
one month and no more than three years, 
AND/OR a fine of no less than 5,000 
Egyptian Pounds and no more than 10,000 
Egyptian Pounds — for any person found 
guilty of infringing copyright or 
neighboring rights.

Article 182:
In cases involving unlawful distribution 
or reproduction of protected works, 
additional penalties include:
— Confiscation of all equipment and tools 
   used in the infringement
— Full financial compensation payable 
   to the rights holder
— A court order to publish the judgment 
   in one or more newspapers at the 
   infringer's own expense

Repeat offenses are subject to doubled 
penalties under Egyptian law.

These penalties are in addition to — 
and do not replace — any civil claims 
for damages filed separately.

ENFORCEMENT

BANG BANG EG and Mohamed Saad Eid Saad 
Hanour reserve the full and unconditional 
right to pursue all available legal 
remedies — civil and criminal — against 
any individual or entity found in 
violation of these intellectual property 
rights, before all competent Egyptian 
judicial authorities and international 
courts where applicable.
